The Beginning

In thirteen days I will turn 40 years old. When I look in the mirror, I do not recognize myself.

So cliche, but so true.

Today, I begin running for my life.

  3. Thank you so much for your comment on my blog today! I'm almost 40, too, but I don't feel like it! Actually, maybe I do. I'm pregnant with my 10th and tired right now! Haha! Great to meet you and I hope to see you around soon!

  5. Hi there~

I'm was just stopping by from SITS to say hello and to show some comment love. Happy 'early' birthday! Welcome to the club of being 40! I'm telling ya, 1969 was a VERY good year! Look at all us amazing people who were born that year! LOL! :0)

All kidding aside, I hope you have an incredible birthday and that this next year is filled with nothing but joy and happiness. I'm really glad I stopped by your blog. Often, I feel like I'm the 'old lady' when it comes to blogging. There are SOOOO many younger ladies blogging. Many are in their 20s and are just starting out with their sweet little families. I sometimes feel so out of place. I was just talking to my husband about that last night. I don't 'feel' old (well, except physically because of my illness) but often I wonder if the other ladies think I'm too old to be their friend! :0( YKWIM??

Well, I really would like for you to come by my blog sometime. It is mostly devoted to me sharing about my life after being diagnosed with a very rare neurovascular disease that has left me disabled and pretty much homebound and basically bedridden. I know it sounds rather depressing but it isn't always. I try to incorporate other more fun things along with it. I'd certainly love it if you stopped by.

I'll be sure to come back by yours and see how you are doing. For now, I'm going to start following your blog. I think I'll be your first official 'Follower'. That's pretty cool!

Well, I hope you have a wonderful evening!

    Many blessings,

    Teresa <><
